The assessment process was set up and managed to a high standard, and each step was explained clearly prior to its undertaking. I felt the assessments were pitched at the correct levels and allowed candidates to demonstrate a wide and varied knowledge of the subject matter. Having been identified as competent to join the Tier 2 register (CFRAR), I feel this places me in a better position to demonstrate my level of competence with regards to our fire risk assessment undertakings. I would like to thank the assessors for their professional approach throughout the assessment day which certainly helped to set and demonstrate the correct, formal approach.

Through my membership of IFSM I was made aware of the three tier registration schemes. As a specialist in a specific industry sector, I felt the Tier 2 register was right for me. I found the process clear, with IFSM providing excellent guidance before and during the assessment. I thought the examination stage was challenging and I felt a sense of achievement when I passed. Having the Tier 2 status has given me confidence and my clients an additional assurance to bolster their third party accreditation processes.
